Parasporos

The beach is sandy with areas covered with pebbles

Parasporos beach is very close to Parikia, just 3 km south from the capital. It is large and predominantly sandy, with big pebbles around the shore. Half of the beach is managed by two beach bars in the summer, offering sunbeds and parasols. The other half is not organized and the first two meters of the sea bottom are covered by rocks and pebbles. Hotels and restaurants can be found around the beach, and their number is increasing due to the proximity to Parikia.

Just a bit north of Parasporos there is a small sandy cove, called Delfini. Because it is in the area, sometimes people confuse it with Parasporos but they are different beaches and the signboards will lead you to the right places.
