Papafragas

Papafragas

Papafragas is another strange beach of north Milos, next to the ancient site of Philakopi and near Pollonia. It consists of three tiny canals passing through high sea cliffs, forming interesting caves and arches on some places.

Two of the canals have small spots of the sand - this is the "beach". A narrow path through the rocks leads downs to the sea but the descent and swimming is on your own risk and there are signs warning for danger. You can also climb on the top of the cliffs on carved stairs - the view from above is spectacular.
