Panteli

Panteli (pronounced Pandeli) is a traditional fishing village on the east coast of Leros, next to Agia Marina and Platanos. The three settlements are so close to each other that one can hardly tell where the border between them is.

Panteli is a quiet place, having unique atmosphere with the windmills located on the top of a hill above it. The locals are very friendly and make tourists feel like home. The village is famous for its taverns serving fresh fish and sea food. Except for the taverns, there are some hotels and cafes.

The beach of Panteli is sandy.
