Pantazi Ammos

Completely empty in early season

Pantazi Ammos is a large and non-urbanized beach on the east coast of Pelion. It lies 4 km away from the village of Syki, accessible via narrow asphalt road.

Although its name literally means "stunning sand", it is a rather pebbly beach, with big rocks in the sea. The coarse sand mixed with the pebbles has grey hue and the water is deep around the shore, suitable for swimming when the sea is calm. This beach has no facilities like sunbeds to rent or beach bars, and due to its size and isolated location it always looks empty and quiet. On the way down to Pantazi Ammos you will see the beaches of Kommos, Potistika and Melani in the distance - despite they look close, there is no short coastal road to connect them from here.
