Panormos

Opposite Mykonos Town, on the north coast of the island lies the long beach of Panormos. Panormos is also the name of the deep gulf in the same region. Above the beach there are a few hotels and villas, and some restaurants by the sea. Panormos has coarse sand, and at some places the sea bottom around the shore is covered by pebbles and flat rocks. In the summer a small part of the beach is occupied by sunbeds and parasols of a beach bar but there is plenty of free (and quiet) space.
