Panagia Gremniotissa

Panagia Gremniotissa is the big blue-domed church in the upper part of Ios Chora. You will recognize it by the two high palm trees next to it. Behind the big church, at the very top, there are four more smaller churches which have different names. From this area spectacular views are revealed toward Chora, the port and the beach of Gialos, and the place is more frequented in the evenings during sunset.

There is a cobbled path with flowers which winds behind Panagia Gremniotissa and connects it with the rest churches at the top. The highest of them is called Agios Nikolaos and offers 360-degree panorama.
