Panagia Poulati

Panagia Poulati is a small church in Sifnos island, located on the east coast and very close to the sea. The access is via dirt road which starts in the outskirts of Artemonas and reaches a parking space in front of the church.

The white building of Panagia Poulati contrasts with the surrounding landscape and it is very photogenic. The area around is almost undeveloped and the church is locked, so most visitors come because of the rocky beach nearby, which is also called Poulati. The beach is not visible from the church and you can reach it via a narrow path (approximately 5-10 minutes walk). Do not expect a real beach, it is rather a swimming spot with flat rocks. Hikers can also try the coastal hiking trail which connects Panagia Poulati with Kastro.
