Paliros

Paliros seen from the road to Marmari

The old village of Paliros rises up on the top of elevation in the southernmost part of Mani, above Porto Kagio. You will see it on your way to Cape Tenaro and it remarkably reminds of Vathia - the same location on a hill above the sea and the same stone towers but the village is smaller. Although it looks remote and uninhabited, there are local residents as well.
