Pachia Ammos is a secluded beach on
Nisyros island. It is located on the east coast of the island. Mid-way from Emborios to
Nikia starts the road to Kyra Panagia monastery, which road also leads to the beach. The road is unpaved and passes around one kilometer away from Pachia Ammos. From there access is only on foot and takes around 10-15 minutes.
The beach is about half kilometer long, with dunes, and covered with coarse black sand. The beach is not organized and it is visited by relatively few tourists, mostly nature lovers and naturists. It is also the most popular destination on Nisyros for free campsite lovers.
