Myrodato

Myrodato

Still developing tourism, this place is visited mostly by Bulgarians and Turks due to its proximity to the borders of both countries. Originally a beach, today Myrodato has many villas and summer residences.

The beach strip of Myrodato (also called Skala Avdira, as it is the largest beach of Avdira area) is long, wide and sandy. The sand glitters like gold in the sun, maybe due to the many seashells you will find there. The sea bottom is very shallow and suitable for small children. There are a couple of beach bars and taverns.

highlights: long, wide and sandy strip with seashells, beach in Xanthi Region, North Greece, Greece
