Milia

Rocks in the middle

This is one of the most popular beaches of Skopelos and the longest as well. It is on the west coast, between Kastani and Panormos, easily accessible from the main road. The local public transport will also take you just above Milia.

The beach has coarse sand and pebbles, and the sea around the shore shows shades of light and dark blue. In the summer two beach bars are operating there, with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas but yet large part of the beach is free. The ”weak spot” of Milia is that on windy days big waves may be present due to the exposed location. At a distance of 500 meters from the beach is the islet of Dasia.
