Megali Ammos

Megali Ammos (meaning "big sand") is the southernmost beach of Ammouliani. In is located on the southeastern coast of the island, with view of the Drenia islets and the tower of Ouranoupoli on the mainland. Part of the road going to this beach is unpaved but the access is easy.

The beach has fine sand like all the rest beaches of Ammouliani. In the summer there a couple of beach bars offering sunbeds and umbrellas and one tavern overlooking the sea.
