Livari

Livari is located on the east coast of Sithonia. It is next to the main road between Vourvourou and Ormos Panagias and you will notice it from the car if you travel in the area.

Livari is distinguished for the narrow sandspit which forms a lagoon between the sea and the shore. The sand is fine and the sea bottom is very shallow. You will often see people walking in a knee deep water far from the coast, or sunbeds and umbrellas placed in the middle of the lagoon.
