Livadi

Livadi beach

Livadi is one of the two long beaches between Armenistis and Gialiskari. It is from the side of Armenistis, just before entering the village and accessible via steps.

Livadi is one of the largest beaches of Ikaria, and one of the most visited. It is wide and sandy and due to its size, even in the summer it doesnt feel crowded. The water is relatively shallow around the shore and suitable for families with small kids. In July and August two beach bars offer sunbeds and parasols but yet a large part of the beach remains unoccupied. Above Livadi there are some nice taverns with view of the beach and Armenistis harbor.
