Lacara-Koutloumousiou

This beach is known as Lacara, by the name of the camping site which manages the place, but its real name is Koutloumousiou, something hard to pronounce and remember. The beach is wide and long, with coarse sand and relatively deep water around the shore but the sea is very blue and transparent. The south end has some rocks in the water.

As Lacara is managed by the campsite, you should pay a small entrance fee if you want to go to the beach. There is a restaurant, mini market and cafe bar by the sea, some facilities for kids and water sports. The campsite is very spacious and has many trees for natural shade, making it preferred by families with children.
