Krini

The roundabout at the village square

Krini is the closest village to Angelokastro, one of the most significant castles still preserved on Corfu island. You will pass through the village center on your way to the castle.

Krini is an old village with traditional old houses and a tiny square which serves as a roundabout (no matter how strange it sounds and looks, this is the only way to Angelokastro and one of the few places in the village where two cars can meet). There is one taverna in the village which operates in the summer but in the neighbor village of Makrades you can find more options to eat and a few cafeterias.
