Kouloura

Fishing boats at Kouloura

Very small but calm and lovely. Kouloura is a horseshoe shaped cove close to Kalami which serves as a fishing boat harbor. It has only one taverna and a church right by the sea, surrounded by pine trees and a few private houses. Although the nearby Kalami is popular among tourists with the house of the Durrell family, very few people come to Kouloura and the neighbor beach called with the strange name Chouchoulio.

Some of the boats moored at Kouloura can be rented and used to explore the seaside around. This part of Corfu is suitable for snorkeling and diving.
