Kompitsi

The village of Kompitsi is situated in the center of Corfu, around the main island road which connects Corfu Town with the west part of the island. The old part of the village is built on the slopes of elevation, with houses hidden among trees and greenery. You can see many private mansions with big gardens and small old houses with stone tiles on the roofs. A point of interest here is the Venetian fountain in baroque style which uses to supply the village with water in the past.

The newer part of the village has formed along the main road and there you will find mainly small shops, cafes, pharmacy and some public services. It is a convenient place for accommodation which would allow you to explore different parts of the island every day. Corfu Town is also easily accessible and its old town and center is only 7 km away.
