Klisma is a beach along the road on the west coast of
Thassos, close to
Skala Kallirachis. It is best know for its old fish taverna Klisma which serves traditional Greek food and fresh fish and seafood.
The beach is long but narrow, covered with large smooth pebbles. There is neither beach bar nor sunbeds and parasols to rent but the taverna places some of its tables and chairs right on the pebbles at the shore. The place is suitable for swimming (aqua shoes are recommendable) or isolation during the high season when all the famous beaches of Thassos are crowded. Around the beach there are small complexes with studios and apartments to rent, as well as holiday homes. The harbor and center of Skala Kallirachis is 2 km away, and there you can find more restaurants, cafes, super markets, pharmacy and bakery.
