Klimataria
The beach of Klimataria is situated near Sykia. It is one of the most scenic beaches of the peninsula and though it was a secret place unknown to tourists some 10 years ago, now it is a popular destination.
Klimataria has fine sand and transparent blue water. Kids can safely play in the sea, it is very shallow and they can walk meters ahead before it gets deeper. The best time to enjoy Klimataria is in the beginning/end of season because it gets really crowded in July and August. The beach is densely covered with sunbeds and parasols of a few beach bars and there is just a tiny area for those who bring their own parasols.
The easiest way to reach Klimataria is to take the coastal road which runs along the small beaches near Paralia Sykia (from Linaraki beach). You can also reach it from the Ghost town which leads to Kriaritsi but it is not recommended because the roads there are confusing and you may end up somewhere else.
