Kinopiastes

Kinopiastes (Kynopiastes) is a large inland village centrally located in Corfu island, close to Gastouri and the Achilleion Palace (3 km). The village is a mixture of traditional old and new houses and it is not popular among tourists. There are a few cafes, small family run tavernas and olive museum housed in a traditional oil mill. Walking in the narrowest alleys where cars cannot drive through you can feel the way local residents live, away from the bustle of the seaside resorts.

The road which connects Benitses and Achilleion with the west coast passes just by Kinopiastes and the large sandy beaches of Agios Gordios and Pelekas are within 15 minutes drive each. The center of Corfu Town is easily accessible within 10 km.
