Keri Caves
The Keri Caves is a another group of sea caves and rock arches in Zakynthos which is worth visiting. The caves are in the south part of the island, on Cape Marathia Cape which is characterized by inaccessible white cliffs in peculiar shapes and blue water - typical landscape for the west side of almost all Ionian islands. The promontory of Marathia (also known as Cape Keri) is deeply indented, with small beaches among the rocks and the caves. Boat trips in the area are organized from the harbor of Limni Keri.
Cape Marathia can be explored by car as well. Near the village of Keri you can find a few tavernas offering superb sunset view, and from the lighthouse on the promontory end the two Mizithres rocks can be seen - one big and one small white rock in the sea close to the coast.
