Keri Caves

Keri Caves is a another group of sea caves and rock arches on Zakynthos which is worth visiting. The caves are in the south part of the island, on Marathia Cape which is characterized by inaccessible high white cliffs in peculiar shapes and milky blue water - typical landscape for the west side of almost all Ionian islands. The promontory of Marathia (also known as Keri Cape) is deeply indented, with small beaches among the rocks and the caves. Boat trips in the area are organized from the harbor of Limni Keri.

Cape Marathia can be explored by car as well. Near the village of Keri you can find a few tavernas offering superb sunset view, and from the lighthouse on the promontory end the two Mizithres rocks can be seen - one big and one small white rocks in the sea close to the coast.
