Kerameies

Kerameies (also Keramies) is one of the larger inland villages of Kefalonia. It is located 8 km away from Argostoli and roughly 4 km away from the seaside, as the closest beaches are Avithos and Spartia.

Kerameies has a large square with benches and a church in the upper part, the accommodation options are scattered all over the village. The taverna is only one but in the area and by the sea there are enough restaurants and shops. Near Kerameies you can also visit the ruins of the Venetian castle Agios Georgios, above the village of Peratata.
