Kato Lechonia

Kato Lechonia is a small village on the west coast of Pelion, between Agria and Ano Lechonia. It is so close to Agria that both seem to have merged. One may also suggest that Kato Lechonia is the newer neighborhood of Ano Lechonia because it seems more contemporary in architectural aspect and it spreads in a valley, while Ano Lechonia is built on a small hill, with narrow streets.

Kato Lechonia offers all facilities like super markets, bakeries and small shops, and Agria has a choice of cafes and restaurants on the promenade. The closest beaches are Platanidia (organized with some sunbeds and parasols) and Agios Minas (narrow but long strip without any facilities) and Kalamies (with a couple of beach bars).
