Kato Gatzea

Kato Gatzea is the seaside area of the older village of Ano Gatzea. Both are at a distance of 2 km from each other.

Kato Gatzea has a small fishing port and a few tiny strips of coarse sand mixed with pebbles. The strip in the sound end has a group of trees almost reaching the shore, with lots of natural shade and a couple of seaside tavernas. The village is small, with relatively new houses and some cafes around the fishing port, bakery and a mini market. Small hotels and rooms to rent are available for accommodation.
