Katigiorgis

Katigiorgis (also Agios Georgios) is a small village with fishing harbor and beach on the east coast of Pelion peninsula. It is very close to the island of Skiathos and in summer there are water taxis running between the two of them which can take you to the famous Kokounaries and Banana beach in just 15 minutes.

Katigiorgis is one of the few places in Pelion where the beach has fine sand all over, including around the shore. It is also located in a bay which protects it from winds, with gently sloping sea bottom and no waves. A few tavernas and a seaside cafe are lined behind the beach and within the village there are small hotels and rooms to rent.

The road leading to Katigiorgis starts near the inland village of Lavkos and connects it with the villages of Mortia and Platania on the east coast.
