Kampi

Kampi (pronounced Kambi) is a small mountainous village in Schiza area, on the west part of Zakynthos. The place is famous for the beautiful sunset view and one of the best places on the island to see the sun going down in the sea.

There are a couple of taverns with open-air terraces to enjoy the view while dining. On the highest hill a huge cross rises up - it is devoted to the victims of war and is called Schiza cross. In the area there are also ruins of Mycenaen cemetery.
