Kamares

Kamares

Kamares is a 1.5 km long beach on the east side of Mani, Peloponnese. It is from 5 to 20 meters wide and covered with yellow-gray sand. The beach is split into two by a rocky cape with a church named Agia Zoni.

Kamares is not crowded even during the summer season few people visit it. In the north part (towards Gythio) there are holiday homes, a few hotels and a taverna with parasols and sunbeds. The south end (towards Skoutari) is the place where campers park by the road and stay for a day or two before continuing their trip in Peloponnese.
