Ionion

Ionion is the extension of the famous Banana beach. It occupies the north part which has a narrower beach strip, and it is sometimes referred to as Ano Vasilikos beach (Upper Vasilikos). Ionion is a calmer place compared to Banana. There are no water sports but there are a few beach bars. The beach is sandy around the shore except for a few spots where small pebbles can be seen. A few rocks separate Ionion from the neighbor Porto Zoro beach.
