Grotta

When it`s windy, Grotta is definitely not a place where you want to be - large waves break by the rocky shore and the water looks deep and dark.

This beach is located next to the port of Naxos Town but it faces north and waves are very common. In calm weather Grotta can be visited for swimming and for the spectacular view over Portara at sunset.
