Glysteri

Pretty sheltered cove

Glysteri is one of the few beaches on the north seaside of Skopelos which are accessible by car. It is close to the capital (4km) but away from the populated areas. The is one beach taverna which operates only in the summer and manages the place, offering sunbeds and umbrellas.

Glysteri is located in a long and curved bay making it less exposed to winds. Sand is almost missing, except for a narrow strip of coarse sand, there are pebbles both around the shore and in the water.
