Probably Fari is the least known by tourists beach of Thassos island, although large and a bit exotic. It lies on the south coast, just next to Skala Marion and Atspas beach. Fari is accessible via dirt road which is in not very good condition, especially when it had rained. If you trust in your car abilities, you can take the road and it will lead you down almost to the beach. It is recommendable though to leave it by the road and walk the distance, it will not take long. The deviation to Fari is on the same road which leads to Atspas when entering the village from the south.
Fari consists of one large beach and a tiny cove which looks very much like Atspas. The large beach is backed by high rocks and it can be accessed only from one side if you come on foot. It has small pebbles instead of sand and there are no facilities at all, you should bring your own water and sun protection.
Around Fari there are a few private villas to rent with beautiful view toward the sea.
