Exo Nimfio

Exo Nimfio (also known as Exo Nymfio, Exo Nifi or just Nifi) is a relatively bigger village on the east shore of Mani, Peloponnese. It is widely spread along the main road and on the hill ridges above it. The village is connected with two more village, Mesa Chora (which is older and situated on the hill above) and the seaside Alipa (on the north side, in Kotronas direction). The borders between the three villages are not clearly defined so it is a bit hard to say where ends one and starts the other.

Although Exo Nimfio is next to the sea, it doesn’t have beach. The coast is rocky, steep and not suitable for swimming and sunbathing. The closest beaches are Alipa beach at the north end of Exo Nimfio and Laludes beach, which is less then 1 km in south direction. Alipa and Lalloudes beaches are both small coves and covered with white-gray pebbles.
