Eftalou

Eftalou is a beach on the north coast of Lesbos known for its healing thermal springs. It is a few kilometers east of Mithymna.

Eftalou is covered with mixture of small and large pebbles. In one of its coves you can find the old public bath building which is not in use anymore, and the new building which is open for visitors for a small charge. The water temperature is about 45 degrees Celsius and it is recommended for the healing of bone and joint diseases. There are a few hotels and rooms to rent near the beach, as well a couple of tavernas.
