Drama Region

Drama is one of the northernmost regions of Greece, bordering the country of Bulgaria. Its capital town is Drama, with population of about 50 000 residents. The territory of the region comprises of fertile valleys and the Falakro mountain. An interesting site in the area is the Aggitis Cave (also known as the Cave of Maaras) which is the largest cave in Greece and also the only river cave in the country.
