Chrissi Akti

Chrissi Akti, better known as Golden Beach, lies on the eastern coast of Paros. It is a long and sandy beach popular for its windsurf and water sport schools. Although there are not big waves, the place is windy most of the time.

Golden Beach has fine, velvety soft sand. It is organized with beach bars, sunbeds and parasols, and around it there are many hotels. The so called New Golden Beach is a smaller beach to the north, with the same soft sand and surfing facilities. In less than 600 meters is the fishing harbor of Drios, with a line of seafront fish tavernas and mini markets.
