Chiliadou

Giant pieces of rock and saturated blue sea

Chiliadou is one of the largest beaches of Evia, situated on the east coast of the island. Due to the location, the place is often exposed to strong winds and big waves may appear.

Chiliadou is covered predominantly with pebbles and coarse sand. The seabed is deep around the shore and not suitable for kids. In the summer sunbeds and parasols are provided by a couple of beach tavernas, accommodation is available, too, but even though Chiliadou is the most popular beach of the island, it never feels crowded.

The northernmost part of the beach has an area separated by rocks - it is the unofficial nudist beach of Evia and you can often see tents and wild campers (though the latter is actually forbidden).
