Boukari (also Boukaris and Mpoukaris) is a small fishing harbor with small beach on the southeast coast of Corfu
island. It is the seaside area of the inland village of Kouspades which is less than 1 km away.
Boukari has a few hotels and a handful of houses with rooms and apartments to rent, lined along a narrow pebbled beach. The place is better known for its fish tavernas which serve fresh fish and seafood right by the sea and some of them offers sunbeds and parasols as well. The beach strip has pebbles both on the shore and in the water but the sea is always very calm and there are no waves at all.
Boukari is away from the main island roads and thus suitable for relaxing holiday and lazy days on the beach. The larger seaside village of Petriti
is just 3 km away, and Messongi
is 5 km away, both easily accessible via a local coastal road.
