Bohali and The Castle

Bohali is a neighborhood above Zakynthos Town, popular for the panoramic views that it has toward the town and the entire bay from the port to Vasilikos peninsula, especially at night. There are a few cafes where visitors can enjoy the view while having a refreshing drink.

In Bohali you can also see the ruins of a Venetian castle. What was left from the castle inside was destroyed after a series of earthquakes but the walls remained and underwent some restoration to prevent them from falling. The inner part of the castle is organized as a small park with trees and alleys among the ruins, so it is a great place for a walk.
