Bogdanatika (together with the neighbor area of Makratika) is almost merged with Gaios, which is 2 km away. Its location is very suitable for accommodation as it is close to the capital and the beaches on the southwestern coast, but you should keep in mind that the village is built on one of the highest points of the island and walking up from Gaios would be difficult.
Bogdanatika is a rather big settlement compared to the other inner villages of Paxos. There are many villas to rent and some of the bigger hotels on the island are located in this area, since Gaios has no space for large buildings. Along with the new houses, you can see old churches and ruins of old buildings. There are a couple of taverns in the village, and the medical center of Paxos is also here.
