Barbati
Barbati (Mparmpati) is a small coastal village in the northeast part of Corfu island, dominated by the slopes of Pantokrator mountain and located approximately 19 km away from Corfu Town. The resort is divided into two parts by the main road of Corfu. The hotels and guest houses are scattered both above the road and around the beach, while shops and restaurants can be found mainly by the sea or along the road.
The beach is 1 km long, with smooth pebbles. There is no sand but the water is crystal clear and transparent. There are showers and changing cabins, some water sports are available and boat hire. Some beach cafes are open until late, but in general nightlife in Barbati is poor. The place is suitable for quiet and relaxing holidays.
