Avlaki

Long pebbled beach with a few subbeds

Avlaki is a less known beach in the northeast part of Corfu, close to the bustling resort of Kassiopi and the harbor of Agios Stefanos - east. They are actually two beaches, one long and organized, and one small cove without facilities. Both beaches are wind-protected by a bordering small peninsula to the east.

The long beach is approximately 500 meters long, with smooth large pebbles and transparent water. A few restaurants are lined at the beachfront and at the back villas and small complexes with studios to rent are scattered among green trees and grass. There are showers and changing cabins as well as sunbeds of the restaurants. The site is gaining popularity with its facility for riding and swimming lessons for children. The smaller beach is accessible either on footpath from the larger beach, or by road which also leads to the secluded Akoli beach on the east coast. On the peninsula there are a few more coves with amazing blue water but most of them are accessible only by boat.

The center of Kassiopi is less than 3 km away and there you can find plenty of shops, bakeries, cafes, restaurants and services.
