Ano Gatzea
Ano Gatzea (meaning Upper Gatzea) is a village in the northeast part of Pelion, approximately 16 km away from Volos Town and 2 km from the sea. It is a really small settlement with a few guesthouses and villas to rent. Hotel and restaurants can be found in its newer neighborhood which has developed by the sea - Kato Gatzea (Lower Gatzea).
Ano Gatzea is connected via road to the cluster of traditional mountainous villages in this area - Milies, Vizitsa, Pinakates, Agios Georgios Nilias and Agios Vlasios.
