Anilio

The small mountainous village of Anilio lies between Makrirrachi and Agios Dimitrios, in the northwest part of Pelion. It is above the beaches of Plaka and Agios Ioannis, as well as Agii Saranda which is below Makrirrachi.

Anilio is not visible from the main road connecting Tsangarada and Zagora, you need to make a slight deviation to enter the village. All the houses are set along the main street which passes through the entire village and the small plateia - with a church, high trees and taverna. In general, it is a quiet and peaceful settlement for accommodation if you would like to explore the beaches of northwest Pelion during the day and to enjoy silence in the night.
