The road going to the village is asphalt and allows very fast ride to both the seaside around Nikiana and the traditional village of Karya in the mountain.
Most of the houses in Alexandros are holiday homes which are inhabited during the summer and the holidays. The few small hotels and villas are scattered around the village and are good choice for people looking for calm and idyllic vacation away from the busy life.
