Agnontas

Illuminated by the falling sun

Agnontas is a small harbor on the southwest coast, with a miniature pebbled beach. It is more popular for the two beach tavernas which place their tables on wooden decks above the sea and the place looks very romantic at sunset. The beach is set in a sheltered cove and the sea is relatively calm even in windy days.

Next to Agnontas you can find Cape Amarandos which has become something like a symbol of the island with the lonely tree on the rock.
