Agnontas

Agnontas

Agnontas is a small harbor on the southwest coast, with a miniature pebbly beach. It is more famous for the two beach tavernas which place their tables on wooden decks above the sea. It looks very romantic at sunset and in the evenings. The beach is set in a sheltered cove and the sea is relatively calm even in windy days. Next to Agnontas you can find Amarandos Cape which has become something like a symbol of the island with the lonely tree on the rock.
