Agios Nikitas

Agios Nikitas is one of the few villages on the western seaside of Lefkada, relatively close to the capital. The village has its own small beach which gets crowded in the high season but this is not a problem since it is located between two superb beaches - Pefkoulia and Milos. Pefkoulia seems like the natural extension of the coast of Agios Nikitas and you can go by car as well, but Milos is accessible only on foot through a path which starts from the center of Agios Nikitas and takes about 15-20 mins to reach. The beaches of Kathisma and Kalamitsi are also at a close distance and easily accessible by car.

Agios Nikitas is closed for cars as its tiny center is with narrow cobbled streets, so people traveling with cars should keep in mind they will have to park along the main road above the village (and finding a free spot might be a bit difficult in July and August). Otherwise the village is very pleasant, with a couple of fish tavernas, cafes and mini markets. Small hotels and studios to rent are also available, and above Milos beach villas are offered, with swimming pools and view from above.
