Agios Fokas

Agios Fokas

Agios Fokas is a beautiful beach with transparent blue water on the west coast of Skyros island. Actually, it comprises of a few consecutive beaches around the chapel of Agios Fokas, some with pebbles, other sandy.

The largest beach has a seasonal taverna and a small jetty. Part of it is covered with boulders but the other part is sandy, as well as the sea bottom. The taverna spreads its sunbeds and parasols in the sandy part of the beach, and along the shore you can find numerous tiny pebbles in various colors - green, red, violet, black, etc. The water is very shallow around the shore and suitable for kids, because Agios Fokas is one of the most wind sheltered beaches on Skyros.
