Agathopes is one of the most beautiful beaches of the island of Syros. It is next to Posseidonia port, covered with soft sand and very shallow water.

The beach is managed by a couple of beach tavernas which provide sunbeds and parasols to rent, there is a free space as well for those who prefer their own parasol. The place is good both for swimming and snorkeling because of the two nearby islets - Schinonissi and Strongylo. Around the beach there are a few small hotels.
